“Thermolytic fluorescent dyes in nucleic acid labeling” (POIR.01.01.01-00-0027/17).
  • Post category:Projects

– Project implementation period: 01.10.2017 – 29.12.2020,
– Co-financed by the European Union within the framework of Measure 1.1 – R&D projects of enterprises, Sub-measure 1.1.1 – Industrial research and development works carried out by enterprises,
– Implemented by FutureSynthesis sp. z o. o,

The aim of the project was to develop and put into business operation new thermosensitive fluorescent dyes using an original chemical compound based on a condensed 2-pyridinyl (bis_2-Py) system with wide application in molecular biology especially in labeling of biopolymers such as nucleic acids. A feature such as the thermosensitivity of fluorescent dyes has allowed the development of new diagnostic methods based on the correlation of fluorescence with temperature change, which consequently enlarges the detection spectrum. The new dyes and their application are the basis of patent protection and represent the applicant’s potential in the development of modern molecular techniques based on proprietary technical solutions.

FutureSynthesis carried out the project by developing PvP and ChvP fluorescent dyes based on 2-pyridyl aminoalcohols with fluorescent properties.
